Our accommodation is divided into three houses, each with bathroom and kitchenette. We also have a common room,  which is ideal for meetings and a large, sunny yard that's the perfect place to  enjoy a cup of tea or a drink and chill out!

The Nakuru Backpackers Hostel is a new facility. All our beds come with brand-spanking new mattresses (incredibly comfortable!), sheets, blankets and mosquito net.

Directions

f You Are Traveling by Public Transport: You will arrive by matatu (public bus – these are the minivans you can see everywhere). If you are coming from Nairobi, we recommend that you take Mololine Shuttle. The cost of transport to Nakuru from Nairobi is between 200 and 400 kshs (costs varies by company and day.) You will arrive at the Mololine Shuttle station (if you come with another company you will arrive at the main matatu stop). When you arrive, please call us (0716 705 149 OR 0721 543 406) and we will come and pick you up. If, for some reason, you are unable to call us, Nakuru is not a very big town – and we are easy to find! From the Main Matatu Stop: This is not a station by any western standards – it is just the place where most of the matatus stop! It is very recognizable because it is quite chaotic and loud! Exit the matatu stop, turn left (past the covered market) and walk straight for about five minutes. Follow the road all the matatus are taking (there are a lot of them). Go past the roundabout (still going straight!). You will come to Neno Evangelical Center. We are the blue gate that is right next door! From Mololine Shuttle Station: Go to Kenyatta Ave (the main street in Nakuru). Turn left and go to the main matatu stop. From there, follow the directions above. In a Private Vehicle: If you are coming by private vehicle, turn off the highway onto Kenyatta Ave. Go to the main matatu stop and follow the directions above.
